RSS Why are Bible Doctrines Important

I have a vital question to consider, a few years back I had a pastor tell me that he did not think that Bible doctrines were practical. This is kind of like saying that what the Bible says is unimportant. Not kind of like, but it is saying the Bible has no relevance to today, but if it is not to be considered relevant at some point, then it is not relevant at anypoint. For that mater if it is of no value now, then it never was. I would like to have Anonymous posts, but have had some problems from people in the past by going this route.

RSS in Obama’s speech at Notre Dame he called for a “fair minded” abortion debate.

in Obama’s speech at Notre Dame he called for a “fair minded” abortion debate. Is this even possible I doubt that most of us who oppose abortion can have a "fair minded" debate with those who favor wanton murder of americas unborn (pre born human beings).

RSS Secondary Seperation

First is secondary separation even scriptural (I believe it is), but to what extent. Second, if it is scriptural how broad of an area to we cast it (how and to what extent do we apply it). What is the scriptural support for this point of view.
